Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Steven Matthews - To discuss the lack of grant funding options and policy direction for private urban septic tanks to connect to public urban wastewater networks.

Deputy Pat Buckley - To discuss the progress in delivering emergency relief and supports to those affected by flooding in east Cork.

Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - To discuss Alzheimer's disease and dementia care in Ireland.

Deputy Colm Burke - To discuss the update to the National Rare Diseases Plan 2014 to 2018.

Deputy Marian Harkin - To discuss progress on the hydrotherapy pool in Cregghouse, County Sligo.

Deputy John McGuinness - To discuss the funding of SOS Kilkenny.

Deputy Chris Andrews - To discuss the delay in the construction of flood defences along the Sandymount promenade.

Deputy Bernard Durkan - To discuss the necessity for extra school places at primary- and post-primary level throughout north Kildare.

Deputy Steven Matthews - To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine how many staff are employed at Irish ports to examine imported timber for bark beetles; what percentage of timber being imported into Ireland is being examined for bark beetles; the tonnage of timber imported into Ireland for all of 2023 to date; if he will provide that information in tabular format per month; and if he will make a statement on the matter; and to discuss the lack of grant funding options and policy direction for private urban septic tanks to connect to public urban wastewater networks.
