Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Colm Burke - To discuss the current position in respect of the treatment of home tutors as being self-employed.

Deputy Louise O'Reilly - To discuss the shortage of school places in north County Dublin.

Deputy Pearse Doherty - To discuss the need to ensure that failings within Tusla that have had a detrimental effect on a family in County Donegal are not repeated.

Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor - To discuss the timeline for the opening of the mother and baby redress scheme and the making of payments.

Deputy Gary Gannon - To discuss street safety in Dublin's north inner city.

Deputy Brian Stanley - To discuss when legislation will commence to allow local authorities to erect CCTV in dumping black spots.

Deputy David Stanton - To discuss the urgent need to assist families to find childcare places following the closure of childcare facilities in Midleton.

Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - To discuss the findings of a recent KPMG report commissioned by Wind Energy Ireland regarding planning delays and electricity grid capacity.

The matters raised by Deputies Colm Burke, Pearse Doherty, David Stanton and Maurice Quinlivan have been selected for discussion.
