Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Michael Ring - To discuss the investigations into the staff and CEO of Inland Fisheries Ireland.

Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor - To discuss the timeline for the opening of the mother and baby redress scheme and making of payments.

Deputy Bríd Smith - To discuss issues with the new BusConnects services in Dublin 10 and 12.

Deputy Chris Andrews - To discuss Shelbourne Park and the need to ensure the site is protected and utilised to its full potential.

Deputy Bernard Durkan - To discuss the need for extra school places at primary and post-primary level throughout north Kildare.

Deputy Brian Stanley - To discuss when legislation will be commenced to allow local authorities to erect CCTV in dumping black spots.

Deputy Ciarán Cannon - To discuss the severe shortage of post-primary school places in Athenry town and the east Galway region.

Deputy Gary Gannon - To discuss street safety in Dublin 1 and Dublin 7.

Deputy Carol Nolan - To discuss the replacement of Clara fire station in County Offaly.

Deputy Pa Daly - To discuss the extension of the south Kerry CAMHS redress scheme to include other cases in north and south Kerry where former patients have received apologies.

Deputy James O'Connor - To discuss the resourcing and functions of the new Electoral Commission in response to growing risks of disinformation and artificial intelligence.

Deputies Darren O'Rourke, Paul Murphy, Joan Collins and Paul McAuliffe - To discuss the barriers to remunicipalisation of waste collection services in local authorities across Ireland.

Deputy Martin Kenny - To discuss the provision of a multi-agency response to the localised tornado event in Leitrim village.

Deputy Michael McNamara - To discuss the delay in payments under the ACRES scheme.

Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - To discuss farm items left outside the scope of the VAT refund order.

Deputy Marian Harkin - To discuss plans for assisting the recovery of the community in Leitrim village following a recent tornado event.

Deputy David Stanton - To discuss the need for funding to repair roads and bridges in east Cork that were severely damaged by Storm Babet.

The matters raised by Deputies Nolan, Andrews, Christopher O'Sullivan and Durkan have been selected for discussion.
