I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - To discuss reducing the rate of VAT to 9% for food items in the hospitality sector.Deputy Niamh Smyth - To discuss the number of training scheme doctors and interns being assigned to Cavan General Hospital.Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - To discuss the record number of patients treated on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this January.Deputy Marc Ó Cathasaigh - To discuss recent water supply issues in west Waterford.Deputy Paul McAuliffe - To discuss the John O'Meara judgment and the non-availability of widow's or widower's pension to bereaved partners and their families where the parents were unmarried.Deputy David Stanton - To discuss the need to progress the implementation of flood relief schemes for Midleton, Castlemartyr and Mogeely in east Cork.Deputy Matt Carthy - To discuss services for children with disabilities in Cavan and Monaghan.Deputies Éamon Ó Cuív and Violet-Anne Wynne - To discuss the need to ensure there are sufficient dentists in the scheme to provide dental services to medical card holders in County Galway. Deputy Martin Browne - To discuss the challenges being faced by restaurants and cafes, leading to an increase in closures.Deputies Pearse Doherty, Thomas Gould and Rose Conway-Walsh - To discuss the bulk purchase of family homes by investment funds and the need for measures to support individual buyers.The matters raised by Deputies O'Sullivan, Carthy, Stanton and Quinlivan have been selected for discussion.
