Apologies have been received from Senator Joan Freeman. The purpose of today's meeting is a discussion with the Irish Foster Care Association and Empowering People in Care, EPIC, on matters affecting foster care services in Ireland. On the conclusion of that discussion the committee will go into private session to deal with housekeeping matters.
