In accordance with an order of the Dáil of Thursday, 7 November, Deputy Jack Wall has been discharged from the committee and Deputy Ruairí Quinn has been appointed in his place. I welcome Deputy Quinn to the meeting.
In accordance with an order of the Seanad of Wednesday, 6 November, the following Members of the Seanad have been nominated to serve on the Joint Committee on European Affairs: Senators Bradford, Dardis, Lydon, McDowell, Ormonde and Quinn. I welcome them to the Joint Committee.
The Joint Committee went into private session at 2.15 p.m. and reconvened in public session at 2.20 p.m.
