I have received apologies from Senator Deirdre Clune. On behalf of the joint committee, I extend sympathy to the Senator on the death of her mother, Mrs. Margaret Barry, who was buried yesterday. Margaret was the wife of former Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Peter Barry. I am sure I speak for all members when I express our deepest sympathy to Senator Deirdre Clune on the death of her mother.
