In accordance with Standing Order 84(2), the following message will be sent to the Dáil and Seanad:
The Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights has completed its consideration of the motion concerning a Council directive on minimum standards for giving temporary protection in the event of a mass influx of displaced persons and measures promoting a balance of effort between member states in receiving such persons and bearing the consequences thereof.
