I extend my sincere sympathy to the Chief Whip Deputy Hanafin on the sudden death of her husband Eamon Leahy, Senior Counsel. It is a huge tragedy and apparently he died in the course of his work.
Expressions of Sympathy.
On behalf of my party, Fine Gael, I would like to be fully associated with the Chairman's expressions of sympathy to the Chief Whip on the tragic loss of her husband. She has all our good wishes and prayers.
I, too, on behalf of my party, would like to be associated with the expressions of sympathy. Eamon Leahy died at an extraordinarily young age and his sudden death is a terrible tragedy for Deputy Hanafin and all her family.
I, too, extend my sympathy to both the Leahy and Hanafin families.
