It is also proposed that this proposal warrants further scrutiny and that the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport be invited to brief the committee on the proposals with a view to the committee submitting a political contribution to the Presidents of the European Commission, Council and Parliament, if the committee deem it necessary.
