A Message will accompany that accordingly. That concludes our business for to-day. We have no business for to-morrow except the formality that would ensue by putting the Private Bill that was objected to to-day down for to-morrow. I do not like to ask the Seanad to come here to-morrow for that, and at the same time I do not want any unreasonable delay placed in the way of the promoters of this Bill. Accordingly, although we have only one Bill for next week, I think we ought to sit on Wednesday next. Then the Bill blocked to-day will appear again on the Order Paper of that day for its Second Reading. There will also appear the Committee Stage of the Old Age Pensions Bill.
PUBLIC BUSINESS. - THE ADJOURNMENT.
AN CATHAOIRLEACH
If these Private Bills are blocked a second time they will have to come forward a third time?
AN CATHAOIRLEACH
They will come forward on a date to be fixed by me.
Is not that to be taken very shortly after the time the Bill is blocked secondly?
AN CATHAOIRLEACH
That is a matter for the Chairman. As at present advised, I think I could direct it to be taken forthwith.
The Seanad rose at 6.20 p.m. until Wednesday, 7th May.
