I desire to mention that Senator Mrs. Stopford Green has asked me whether I could give the necessary permission that the casket should be lent to the Women's Peace Delegation for the purpose of exhibiting it at an exhibition on next Monday afternoon. I gave provisional permission that that should be done, but I should like to have the sanction of the House for it. If permission is given, I propose that the lady in charge of the exhibition be required to insure the casket while it is away from the custody of the House. If there is no objection I shall proceed to carry that out.
