There are some items on the Orders of the Day which will lead to considerable discussion but as several Senators who wish to speak on them have left, I think it would be better if they were postponed until the next sitting.

The report of the Commission on Procedure is one. It is not pressing.
I have a motion dealing with the report of the Gaeltacht Commission and as several Senators desire to speak on it I would ask that it be deferred until the next meeting.
I hope the motion will receive consideration as it is one of great importance.

I think the Seanad might take it for granted that when we meet next Wednesday week we will sit for two days and I will arrange so far as I can that if this motion is not taken the first day it will be the first business on the second day.
