PRIVATE BUSINESS. - REPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE LIMERICK CORPORATION GAS UNDERTAKING (PENSIONS) BILL, 1928.

The Joint Committee on this Bill was constituted as follows:—Deputy Hugh A. Law (Chairman), Deputies Beckett, Moore and Cassidy and Senators O'Hanlon, O'Rourke and Duffy.

The Joint Committee considered the Bill on Thursday, 8th November, 1928.

The Joint Committee reported they had examined the Preamble of the Bill, and that the allegations therein contained have been proved to their satisfaction, that they have gone through the Bill and have made amendments thereunto.

In considering the Bill the Joint Committee have had before them a report and further reports on the Bill from the Department of Local Government and Public Health. The manner in which the recommendations contained in the said Reports have been dealt with is shown in the Appendix. The Report is signed by Mr. Hugh A. Law, Chairman of Joint Committee. I beg to move that this Report be laid on the Table of the House.
