It will be necessary, according to sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Seanad Bye-Elections Act, for an Order to be made directing the Clerk to inform the Minister for Local Government and Public Health of the vacancy in the Seanad caused by the death of Sir Bryan Mahon, in order that steps may be taken to have such vacancy filled. Is it the wish of the House that such an Order be made?
