I have to announce to the House that I have received a letter from Senator Séamus Robinson resigning his seat in the Seanad.
Pursuant to Section 2 of the Seanad By-Elections Act, 1930, the House must now make an order directing the Clerk to inform the Minister for Local Government and Public Health of the vacancy caused by the resignation of Senator Séamus Robinson in order to cause the vacancy to be filled.
Ordered accordingly.
