I have received the following message from His Majesty the King, signed by His Majesty's own hand and transmitted through the Department of External Affairs, in reply to the Resolution regarding the death of his late Majesty King George V passed by this House on the 12th February, 1936:—
"I am sincerely grateful to the Members of Seanad Eireann for the Resolution which has been presented to me.
I can assure you that your message of sympathy at this sad time is deeply appreciated both by Queen Mary and by myself.
