Vol. 23 No. 6

Order of Business.

Before we take up business for to-day, I desire to say that the business will be as on the Order Paper. If the Land Bill is under consideration at 6.30 p.m., I understand that it has been agreed to adjourn from 6.30 p.m., to 7.30 p.m., to enable the Minister and those Senators participating in the debate to have tea. On the resumption at 7.30 p.m., consideration of the Land Bill will be resumed, and business will then continue until 10.30 p.m. If the Land Bill and the Tourist Traffic Bill have not been completed by that hour, they will be taken over to to-morrow, when the proceedings on these Bills will be resumed. After the Bills have been concluded to-morrow, it is the intention, I understand, to take Senator MacDermot's motion and the amendments to it.

Agreed.
