I have to acquaint the House, with reference to the Resolution passed by the Seanad on the 4th January, 1940, pursuant to subsection (2) of Section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, that the Emergency Powers (Amendment) Bill, 1940, was duly signed pursuant to the Constitution on the 5th January, 1940.
