Before taking up the business on the Order Paper, I should say that I have been given to understand that it would suit the Minister's convenience if item No. 4—the motion in the name of Senator Hayes—was taken after item No. 1, leaving the resumed debate on motions Nos. 2 and 3—the motions in regard to parish councils—as the last item of business to-day. The motion in the name of Senator Counihan—item No. 5—I understand, is not being moved to-day. If the arrangement suggested meets with the convenience of Senators I take it we can proceed accordingly.
