The amendments, Sir, are I think all drafting amendments.
I move Government amendment No. 1:—
In page 8, Section 12; line 42, to delete "Acts" and substitute "Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1949".
Vol. 37 No. 2
The amendments, Sir, are I think all drafting amendments.
I move Government amendment No. 1:—
In page 8, Section 12; line 42, to delete "Acts" and substitute "Fisheries Acts, 1842 to 1949".
Amendment No. 2 is also a drafting amendment.
I move amendment No. 2:—
In page 9, Section 14, line 40, to insert "other" before "fixed".
I move amendment No. 3:—
In page 11, Section 18 (5), line 32, to delete "guilty" and substitute "convicted".
Obviously the word "convicted" is the legal word.
In other words, a person can be guilty but not convicted.
Of course he can.
I move amendment No. 4:—
In page 15, Section 25 (8) (b), line 20, to insert "as a simple contract debt" after "recover".
The words are included in all other previous Acts.
Amendment No. 5 is simply a drafting amendment.
I move amendment No. 5:—
In page 17, Section 35, line 32, to delete "sub-section (1) of".
