The following Message has been received from the Dáil:—

Dáil Éireann has made the following Order:—

That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by the Seanad to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library.

I move:—

That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by the Dáil to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library;

That the quorum be two;

That the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.

Motion put and agreed to.

The Seanad adjourned at 4.5 p.m.,sine die.
