Social Welfare (Children's Allowances) Bill, 1952—Committee and Final Stages.
There are two Government amendments to this Bill. The amendment to Section 1 is stencilled on a separate sheet and the amendment to Section 5 appears on the Order Paper.
SECTION I.
Government amendment:—
In sub-section (1), page 2, line 13, to insert "(Amendment)" before "Act, 1946".
There was a drafting error there. It should have read: "Children's Allowances (Amendment) Act, 1946".
Amendment agreed to.
Section, as amended, agreed to.
Sections 2, 3 and 4, inclusive, agreed to.
SECTION 5.
Government amendment:—
In page 3, line 58, to insert "or made under" before "sections".
This is an amendment similar to that proposed on the other Bill.

Sections 6 to 9, inclusive, and Title, agreed to.
