I move:—
That a Select Committee consisting of six members be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Dáil Éireann to inquire into the present system of workmen's compensation for injuries due to employment and to consider and report as to what changes are necessary or desirable and, in particular, whether a nationalised scheme of social insurance should be substituted for the existing system, or, if no such change is recommended, whether insurance by employers should be made compulsory;
That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records;
That the quorum be two;
That the Committee be nominated by the Committee of Selection.
