A communication has been received from the Secretary to the Department of the Taoiseach that (1) the President, on the nomination of the Taoiseach, with the previous consent of Dáil Eireann, appointed Patrick James Lindsay, on the 24th October, 1956, in pursuance of Article 13. 1.2º of the Constitution, to be a member of the Government, and that (2) the Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 4 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946, terminated the assignment of the Department of the Gaeltacht to Richard Mulcahy and assigned that Department to Patrick James Lindsay on the said 24th October, 1956.
