Vol. 47 No. 4

Statute of Limitations Bill, 1954—Report of Special Committee.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

Tá an Coiste Speisialta tar éis gabháil trid an mBille agus leasuithe a dhéanamh air. Tuairiscítear don tSeanad an Bille mar leasaíedh é.

Tairgim:

(i) Go luifidh an Tuarascáil ar an mBord.

(ii) Go gclóbhuailfear Tuarascáil agus Imeachta an Choiste.

The Special Committee has gone through the Bill and has made amendments thereto. The Bill, as amended, is reported to the Seanad.

I move:

(i) That the Report do lie upon the Table.

(ii) That the Report and Proceedings of the Committee be printed.

Agreed.

When is it proposed to take the next stage?

The usual procedure it to fix the date for taking the Report Stage when the Report is ordered to lie upon the Table but I suggest that, if the House is willing and seeing that the amendments have already been taken, we might be able to take that stage to-day. I would suggest taking it now, if there is no objection.

What is the view of the House?

There is no objection.

Bill reported with amendments.
Agreed to take the remaining stages to-day.
