Seanad Éireann díospóireacht -
Wednesday, 5 Aug 1959

Vol. 51 No. 10

Business of Seanad.

Before we take the adjournment motion, I should like to say that it is proposed that the Seanad should meet to-morrow at 5 p.m. to deal with the motion suggested by Senator John L. O'Sullivan and Senator Barry. It is hoped that the debate will conclude in two or three hours and that the Minister might be able to get in about 7 o'clock and that the proposer would then wind up, if that meets with the approval of the House.

It is very agreeable. It is good to have the Minister come in on this occasion. It is very satisfactory indeed.

It is agreed that we should take the motion at short notice?

I should have said if the Chair is agreeable.

Is it agreed to take it at 5 p.m. to-morrow?

And the House will sit through to hear the Minister at 7 p.m.

Agreed.
