Vol. 51 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

What would the House like to do in regard to the remaining Bills on the Order Paper, the Apprenticeship Bill, the Restrictive Trade Practices (Amendment) Bill and the Shannon Free Airport Development Bill?

I suggest that we should endeavour to finish the business, even though it may mean sitting a little later than usual. I do not think the Committee Stages of the Apprenticeship Bill, the Restrictive Trade Practices Bill or the Shannon Free Airport Bill will unduly delay the House. I think it would be advisable to complete these Bills tonight, if the House has no objection.

What the Chair wants to know is are we prepared to sit late.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

If we decide to complete the business on the Order Paper, I take it that if we are running towards 10.30, we will know what the position is.
