It is proposed to take No. 1, the Land Bill, and to finish the Second Stage today. If the House has no objection, we would like to finish as nearly as possible around lunchtime but if there is a question of adjourning at lunchtime, well and good. The Minister will require about an hour to reply.

I should like to inquire about the finishing of the motion on education. It is a most important motion. Could we not use the rest of the day to deal with it?
The Minister for Education will not be available this afternoon.
Is there a likelihood it will be taken on the next sitting day?
