It is not proposed to take the Succession Bill until October.
I should like to take this opportunity to say that, as Senators are aware, we were faced with a rather awkward situation last week and this week due to circumstances over which we had no control. It is only right that I should acknowledge the understanding and co-operation I so readily received from Senator O'Quigley and Senator Murphy in reaching the point we have now reached and getting the business done.
