Order of Business.
It is with regret that I hear we cannot take motion No. 6 which says:
That Seanad Éireann notes the Report on Investment in Education.
It would be timely to have a discussion on this motion. I appreciate why it cannot be taken but I should like if the Leader of the House could give an assurance that it will be given a very high priority at the start of the next session. As I had the motion down, I felt compelled to keep out of newspaper controversy on it, but as there are so many points that are necessary to put before the public I feel, in fairness and in justice, I must do that within the coming month.
