I move:
That, pursuant to subsection 2º of section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, Seanad Éireann concur with the Government in a request to the President to sign the Industrial Development (No. 2) Bill, 1975, on a date which is earlier than the fifth day after the date on which the Bill shall have been presented to him.
Before I adjourn the House, on this occasion, at the end of a year which was the year of heaviest work of the Seanad in all its history, with 63 meetings in all, an increase not only in sitting days, but an even greater increase in sitting hours, I should like on behalf of all the Members of the Seanad to thank the officials of the House and the members of the joint staff of the Houses of the Oireachtas for all the work they have done during the year in order to facilitate us with this particularly heavy work load. I am sure I speak for everyone on that. It only remains for me to extend to them and to the Members of the House the customary greetings of the season.
