Vol. 91 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in that order and it is proposed to take tomorrow the Minerals Development Bill and the Sixth Amendment of the Constitution Bill.

Would it be possible to start Item 3, the motion on rape, early enough to get it finished in one straight three-hour session or will we have to carry through to tomorrow? Could I have any indication on that if it is possible?

I do not think it would be possible to make that arrangement. We have two Government Bills which I do not think will take long. We will easily get in the motion. If I were to say 5.30 p.m. one of the Government Bills might be within 20 minutes of being finished and would have to go over to tomorrow, and that would be undesirable.

Order of Business agreed to.
