Could I ask the Leader of the House if it might be possible for us to adjourn to a specific date? We have had the experience that when we adjourn sine die it means the Seanad is lost until well into November. I think it would be desirable, if possible, to adjourn to a sitting day as the Dáil does and then meet on that day.
I have no idea what business we would have then.
If the House was fixed to sit on a particular day, it might encourage the Government to introduce Bills in this House.
