I have notice from Senator Michael D. Higgins that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education to indicate his proposals to resolve the particular difficulties that have arisen at Scoil Iognáid in Galway City, where it would appear that the reasonable expectation of the appointment of a 13th assistant teacher to an all-Irish primary school with 450 pupils is being deferred.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. or earlier if the business ordered is concluded.
