Vol. 113 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

When is it proposed to sit again?

It is proposed to sit again at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday 17 June and, as previously indicated, the whole of the time next week, the three sitting days, will be devoted to legislation. Private Members' Time will not be taken and equally the discussion of reports of joint committees will not be taken unless it happens that time is available at the end of Thursday. The first business on Tuesday next will be the Report Stage of the Bill on the Re-organisation of CIE. This will be followed by the air navigation Bill which requires not just signature by the President, but signature on behalf of the country before the end of the month. During the three days, we will continue with other legislation which the Government wish to have passed before the House rises.

The Seanad adjourned at 4.45 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 17 June 1986.
