I have notice from Senator Shane Ross that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Marine to hold a public inquiry into any proposed infill and housing development at West Pier, Dún Laoghaire.
I also received notice from Senator Tom Raftery of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment to take steps to remove dead and dangerous trees in public places, particularly those along the roadsides.
I regard the matters raised by Senator Ross and Raftery as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Ross's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Raftery may give notice on another day of the matters he wishes to raise.
