The need for the Minister for Education to rescind the decision to means test ESF grants for students enrolling in the regional technical colleges and Dublin Institute of Technology colleges.
I also received notice from Senator Fitzgerald of the following matter:
To ask the Minister for Health to provide extra funding to the Southern Health Board for the staffing of a dialysis unit in Tralee General Hospital.
I regard the matters raised by Senators Costello and Fitzgerald as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Costello's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Fitzgerald may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
