I have also received notice from Senator McDonagh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide funds through the Regional Co-ordinating Committee, with flexibility to allow the John Paul Centre in Galway, and other such centres in Galway city and county, to develop urgently needed additional services.

I have also received notice from Senator Sherlock of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide additional funding and resources for voluntary groups addressing the serious problem of adult literacy.

I have also received notice from Senator Belton of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to refurbish Longford courthouse in accordance with the demand from members of Longford County Council and the general public.

I have also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to grant free travel to severely physically handicapped children (details supplied) attending St. Gabriel's Centre and school in Limerick city.

I regard all the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for the discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Doyle's and Henry's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
