I have also received notice from Senator Cotter on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to encourage members of the dental profession to carry out certain orthodontic treatment in an effort to reduce the high cost of such treatment.

I have also received notice from Senator Neville on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to outline the Government's actions in response to the nuclear incident that occurred in the vitrification plant at Sellafield on 2 February 1996.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Sullivan on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to ensure the principles of conservation are applied to forestry management policy.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Fahey's and Senator Wall's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
