Vol. 152 No. 17

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Finneran that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to address the issue of the responsibility of his Department in the Castlerea Town Trust, County Roscommon, otherwise known as the Demesne Townland, Castlerea, County Roscommon.

I have also received notice from Senator Keogh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to review regulations governing the subvention paid to patients in private nursing homes as a matter of great urgency.

I have also received notice from Senator Tom Hayes of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to report the progress, if any, made following her meeting with Tipperary Urban District Council, Tipperary County Council and local public representatives regarding the attraction of new industry to Tipperary town.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and I have selected Senators Finneran's and Keogh's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Tom Hayes may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
