I have notice from Senator Mooney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education and Science to address the growing concern among construction companies and industry bodies about the problem of "embedded" chips in computer systems essential to modern buildings and the possible damage to microprocessors in building systems if computers crash on 1 January 2000.
I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health and Children to fund the sperm freezing bank for cancer patients at the Rotunda Hospital.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
