Vol. 163 No. 11

Order of Business (Resumed).

Senator O'Toole has moved an amendment to the Order of Business, "That item 24, motion 21, be inserted before No. 2." Is the amendment being pressed?

I apologise for breaking the prevailing spirit of goodwill in the presence of our guests but there appears to be no understanding of what we are trying to achieve. This House should be seen to deal with issues of sleaze, corruption and bribery. I will not walk away from this issue until it is dealt with and I intend to push the amendment to a vote.
