Vol. 164 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Costello that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to disclose the outcome of the February investigation into the high number of deaths from brain haemorrhage in the docklands area.

I have also received notice from Senator John Cregan of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to grant an extension of time to personal assistants of people with physical and sensory disabilities who are currently employed on community employment schemes.

I have also received notice from Senator Dan Kiely of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Public Enterprise to include County Kerry in the new proposed national gas lines for the country.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and I have selected Senator Costello's and Senator Cregan's matters which will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Kiely may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
