Vol. 227 No. 12

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

Go dtabharfaidh an tAire Talmhaíochta, Bia agus Mara briseadh síos ar na h-íocaíochtaí atá déanta ag a Roinn leis na hÚdaráis Áitiúla éagsúla i leith 2011 agus 2012, chun capaill ar strae a thógáil, an chostas measta do 2013 agus míniú cén chaoi an bhfuil sé i gceist aige an fhadhb seo a réiteach ar bhonn náisiúnta.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to consider setting aside an unused building for a temporary alternative purpose such as the currently unused old Ballymun Garda station to accommodate a worthwhile cause in the community.

I have also received notice from Senator Mark Daly of the following matter:

To ask Minister for Health to clarify the number of paediatrics tracheotomy patients in Ireland by county and clarify the number of registered paediatrics nurses who have been assessed and deemed competent as per the ABA guidelines 2000 to nurse these children in their homes and who regulates this process.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the new procedures he intends to put in place to audit the substantial funds given by the HSE and the Department of Health to section 39 organisations.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
