Of the matters raised by the Senators that are suitable for discussion, I have selected those raised by Senators Lombard, Craughwell and Clifford-Lee and they will be taken now. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Davitt on the ground that it is a repeat of a Commencement matter raised on 28 May 2019. I also regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Buttimer on the ground that the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter. I also regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Humphreys on the ground that it anticipates the statements on the budget which will take place in the Seanad on Tuesday, 8 October 2019. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise. Only three matters have been selected today because of the way the business is ordered. As we have a busy evening ahead, I ask Senators to stick to the time limits.
