I welcome the Lithuanian ambassador to Ireland, H.E. Marijus Gudynas, to the Chamber. As Members know, the previous Cathaoirleach commenced the celebration of different countries' national days. It is a good idea, which I hope to continue. Today, I congratulate the Lithuanian people and their ambassador on their country's Restoration of the State Day. I welcome Deputy Devlin, who is the chairperson of the Ireland-Lithuania friendship group, and thank him for the work he is doing. I thank the ambassador for his work and all he does with us here in the Oireachtas. From 5 p.m. today, the Samuel Beckett Bridge will be lit up in the Lithuanian colours, which Members may want to go and see. I ask the ambassador to convey to his Parliament and his people our best wishes on their day of national celebration.
