I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:Senator Maria Byrne - The need for the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to provide an update on actions being taken to ensure the reduction in household charges by energy suppliers.Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for Transport to use the powers available under section 8 of the Road Safety Authority Act to direct the RSA to publish statistics relating to road safety.Senator Marie Sherlock - The need for the Minister for Transport to amend the RSA’s new regulations, entitled Premises and Equipment Guidelines on the Minimum Requirements for CVR Test Operators, to ensure that CVR test operators without drive-through facilities, but which meet every other standard as per the 2022 regulations, can be kept in business and not forced to close as a result of the new regulations.Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Transport to provide an update on the progress of phase 2 of the N71 Bandon southern relief road extension.Senator Garret Ahearn - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on progress on the proposed residential unit at St. Patrick's Hospital, Cashel, County Tipperary.The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators Maria Byrne, Lynn Boylan, Marie Sherlock and Tim Lombard and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
