I move:
That Seanad Éireann agrees with the recommendation of the Committee on Parliamentary Privileges and Oversight that, in accordance with Standing Order 57(2) of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the President of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Mr. Larry McCarthy, be invited to address Seanad Éireann on Wednesday, 26th April, 2023, and, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, unless otherwise ordered, the following arrangements shall apply:
The proceedings in respect of the address shall commence at 3 p.m. and shall conclude no later than 4 p.m. and shall consist of:
(a) a speech of welcome by the Cathaoirleach,
(b) an address by the President of the GAA, Mr. Larry McCarthy, which shall not exceed 20 minutes,
(c) a contribution not exceeding four minutes by the Leader of each Group (or a Senator nominated in his or her stead); time may be shared,
(d) a response by the President of the GAA, Mr. Larry McCarthy, which shall not exceed five minutes,
(e) a speech of thanks by the Leas-Chathaoirleach.”
