I have received the following message from the President, an tUachtarán:
I, Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland, do hereby inform the Seanad that the Supreme Court has decided that sections 9, 10, 39, 40(2), 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 51, 57 and 58 of the Bill entitled Judicial Appointments Commission Bill 2022 are not repugnant to the Constitution or to any provision thereof. I accordingly signed the Bill on 8 December 2023.
